THE LINES is a visionary project reimagining Lignano Sabbiadoro—a former swampy island—into an innovative, ecological, and leisure-oriented hub. Aiming to reconnect fragmented natural areas and enrich the urban experience, the project bridges land and water, urbanity and nature.
Key Interventions:
a) Seafront Spine
An elevated pedestrian axis extending from the existing UNICEF Park, connecting the new Wall Park, wildlife conservation area, and the urban forest, fostering ecological continuity.
b) Passo Barca Waterfront
A reinterpretation of the Hemingway path, featuring a boardwalk and pavilion for recreation and transport, linking Lignano and Bibione across the river.
